Intensive Training MI

Gute Unternehmensführung ist der Schlüssel zum Erfolg

Intensive Training MI

Training Objective:
Participants will expand their competencies in MI and will be able to apply them using real cases.

Content of the training:
We apply what is consistent with humanistic approaches and identified by Miller and Rollnick as key competencies in training. These include patience, acceptance, and trusting that participants have and will use their potential.
In the training, participants are expected to supplement their competencies in the area of change motivation with the help of MI in order to sustainably improve the success rate of positive intrinsic changes in their clients, customers, employees, etc.
For users of MI, empathy is a key competence. This empathy, experienced in one’s own inner perspective, should positively support the consulting process and not hinder it. Empathy should be used constructively and purposefully in discussions. The ability for critical self-reflection is very helpful here. Therefore, challenging cases and situations of the participants are worked on in the training. On the basis of a professional handling of own emotions, cognitions and inspirations the tools of MI are applied. If MI is trained in this way, there is the highest chance that the participants will acquire the competencies relevant for success and that the success rate of positive intrinsic changes of their clients in the counseling interview will be sustainably increased.

Procedure:

The training is designed as an intensive group training. The practical application of MI is trained.
In a process-oriented moderation with intensive role training, participants are given the opportunity to work through their own practical cases. In the training, the participants can go through the phases of MI in a condensed form.
In doing so, they actively apply the familiar “MI aids” of discussion management in the training. Each participant can thoroughly work through at least one success-critical and challenging case and review and change their own behavior. Participants will also be able to prepare and practice future conversations.
Participants work on real cases and use them to practice the competencies for good MI. This provides the best conditions for MI to be applied sustainably in practice.
